Some bikes come with valve stem caps that feature a chintzy plastic valve stem puller on top, but those are usually only good for about two or three stem removals before the soft plastic end is stripped out and useless. With as many tires as we change, we’ve come to rely on a sturdy metal valve core tool that features a screwdriver handle to give the necessary leverage required to remove even the most stubborn valve stem cores
