Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing’s Colton Haaker claimed his third win of the season before a sold-out WestWorld Arena at round four of the AMA EnduroCross Series in Phoenix, Arizona, last night.

Haaker got his night off to a strong start by winning his heat race, and he backed it up by posting the fastest time in hot laps to qualify number one for the Pro main event. when the gate dropped, Haaker rounded the first corner in second place, but he moved into the lead by lap five, and he started clocking some of the fastest lap times of the night en route to the win. Factory KTM riders Taylor Robert and Cody Webb finished second and third respectively. Webb appeared to have second place in the bag until his chain broke, allowing Robert to make the pass for the runner-up spot.

With the win, Haaker now leads Webb by seven points, 101-94, in the championship series standings.

“Coming into this round, I knew what I needed to work on, in order to finish on the top step again,” Haaker said. “Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to do much training the last two weeks, but I accepted the challenge, and with a huge amount of focus, was able to execute a successful race and feel more confident than ever with that red plate. I want to thank my team, sponsors, family, and friends for continued support. I would also like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Reiman and Dr. Alexander for their intensive care. Looking forward to next weekend in Denver!”

Rockstar Energy Husqvarna’s Mike Brown recovered from a bad start and worked his way though the pack to finish fourth, ahead of Canada’s Trystan Hart. SRT Racing’s Cory Grafunder finished sixth. Beta’s Kyle Redmond was seventh. Cooper Abbott finished a career-best eighth. GasGas backed Geoff Aaron finished ninth, and Wyatt Hart, Trystan’s older brother, finished tenth.
