Husqvarna Motorcycles has announced a global strategic partnership with Rockstar Energy Drink that will see the popular energy drink brand back Husqvarna’s factory racing teams all over the world.

Rockstar and Husqvarna reaped a lot of success during the 2015 racing season, hence the long-term, worldwide partnership that will see all of Husqvarna’s official factory race teams – Motocross, Supercross, Enduro, US Off-Road and Rally – named “Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing.” The program is similar to the one in which sister company KTM is backed by Red Bull for all of its official factory teams.

The new partnership effectively begins December 5 when members of the Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing team will contest round one of the 2016 FIM SuperEnduro World Championship in Lodz, Poland. On January 3, 2016, Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing team riders Ruben Faria, Pablo Quintanilla and Pela Renet will battle for a win in the Dakar Rally. Rockstar Energy Husqvarna riders Christophe Pourcel and Jason Anderson will be on the track when the 2016 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Series gets underway at Angel Stadium, in Anaheim, California, on January 9.
