The following is from Yamaha Motor Europe:

Team Yamaha Miglio and Yamaha Motor Europe are ready to return to the FIM Enduro World Championship. Entering two fully supported WR250F’s into the 2015 series, Yamaha will officially be represented by riders Cristobal Guerrero (Spain) and Gianluca Martini (Italy).

Team Yamaha Miglio will be led by Team Manager Massimo “Max” Migliorati, who has been involved in the racing industry for many years. Migliorati rode in the Italian championship and Enduro World Championship and scored notable results at international level before deciding to retire in 2006. In 2007 he started his own team “Miglio Racing.”

According to Migliorati the new 2015 WR250F is already very competitive. Derived from the winning YZ250F motocross bike, the technology used on the WR250F shows Yamaha’s competitive and innovative mindset. The team has already started its testing and development program of the new WR250F, with further testing scheduled throughout December and January. In mid-January the team will conduct an official four-day test in Spain well ahead of the season start.

The first two rounds of the 2015 Enduro series will be held in Brazil and Chile before the championship heads back to Europe for the six remaining rounds in Spain, Portugal, Greece, Italy, Belgium and France.

Cristobal Guerrero

“I am very happy to be returning to Yamaha. It is a brand I have many very good memories with. A lot has changed for me since I last raced for Yamaha – now I have a lot more experience, which I will use to help the team and Yamaha. 2015 is a very important year for me, and of course for Yamaha. Being a part of Yamaha’s official return to the international enduro scene is something I am very proud of. I am very excited about this new project, I can’t wait for the season to start.”

Gianluca Martini
“Being a part of Team Yamaha Miglio and Yamaha’s return to the Enduro World Championship is very special for me. I raced in the Italian Enduro Championship this year with the team and on a WR450F, and learned so much. Being able to rely on a great team with experienced people is very important for a young rider like me. I want to say thanks to Team Yamaha Miglio and Yamaha for this opportunity. Being teammates with Cristobal Guerrero is something I am really looking forward to – he’s a hugely experienced and professional racer. The opportunity to race the new WR250F in the Enduro World Championship is amazing, I’m training the best I can to show everything I’m capable of.”

Massimo Migliorati–Team Manager
“It gives me great satisfaction to be working with Yamaha Motor Europe. I’m very grateful to them for their support and vision. They have given their confidence in this program, so we’ll be working hard to deliver the best possible results. Winning will be challenging but not impossible. Cristobal will play an important part in our plans for 2015 while Gianluca will gain valuable experience and grow as a rider. Both riders, together with our technical partners, ensure that we have a great opportunity to do well in 2015 and beyond.”
