Dunlop Geomax MX12

It’s hard to argue Dunlop’s position in the motocross and off-road world. The company’s gumball-like Geomax MX3S is standard fitment on most Japanese motocross machines, and its AT-81 off-road tire is legendary.

Dunlop’s latest is the Geomax MX12. Designed for soft-terrain applications it is claimed to offer superior traction in extreme sand and mud conditions. The MX12 sports an innovative tread pattern that includes Dunlop’s newest V-Block technology, which provides traction and efficient tread cleaning in muddy conditions for more consistent performance. The tread pattern also features Dunlop’s exclusive block-within-a-block Progressive Cornering Block Technology (PCBT) in the rear for enhanced cornering traction and slide control. Recessed flex joints between tread blocks are used to improve tire compliance for enhanced ride comfort.

The MX12 features narrower tire profiles to increase the contact patch for improved bump absorption, and improved steering in rutted conditions.
