Can anyone stop Gary Sutherlin? So far, through four rounds of the 2014 Rocky Mountain MC World Off-Road Championship Series (WORCS), no one has.

Sutherlin extended his win streak to four and remained undefeated at round four of the WORCS series Sand Hollow State Park in Hurricane, Utah, Sunday. Precision Concepts’ Justin Seeds finished a career-best second place followed by defending WORCS Champion Robby Bell, who finished third.

The KTM-mounted Sutherlin grabbed the holeshot and immediately pulled away from the field, amassing a lead of more than thirty second over Seeds on a Sand Hollow State Park course that is known for scenic views and a mixture of sand, sandstone, and hard pack desert terrain to challenge the racers. Sutherlin continued to his lead each lap, waiting to record the fastest lap time of the race until lap seven.

Justin Seeds had finished a career-best third at last year's Hurricane WORCS round. This year Seeds improved by one position, finishing second and giving himself a new benchmark to aim toward.

Precision Concepts’ Seeds improved upon the WORCS racing career-best third place finish that he earned at last year’s Sand Hollow race by finishing second this year. Seeds held that position start to finish, running a solid race all day and and proving that he is more than capable of excelling in sand races.

Robby Bell is putting up a solid defense of his 2013 WORCS title in 2014. Bell finished third again at the Hurricane round but will need to step it up in the second half if he wants to keep his number one plate.

Defending WORCS Champion Bell claimed the final spot on the podium to keep himself in the series points chase heading into the second half of the season. However, Bell will have his work cut out for him if he wants to stop Sutherlin’s win streak.

RPM/KTM’s Travis Coy and David Broderick battled back and forth the first half of the Pro 2 race, but Coy took over the lead for good late in the race and picked up his second consecutive class win. Broderick held on to finish in the second spot followed by privateer, Erik King. Coy’s win moves him into a tie for the points lead with Steve Gibson as both riders now have two wins each. Gibson did not attend the Sand Hollow round.

In the Pro2 Lites Class, Jesse Lundin not only secured his first podium finish, but also the class win. Alex Morgan finished in the second spot, and Michael De Fante extended his points lead by finishing third, marking his third podium finish of the year.

Jesse Lundin had never visited a WORCS podium prior to the Hurricane round, but he made his first trip special as he landed the win in the Pro 2 Lites class.

Lundin grabbed the Pro2 Lites Holeshot, but he dropped back to second when Blayne Thompson charged into the lead before the end of lap one, but Thompson’s charged ended after two laps. Lundin eventually dropped all the way back to fourth, but Lundin began to gradually work his way back to the front taking over the lead in the final lap for the win.
