AMSOIL Grand National Cross Country series XC1 contender Jordan Ashburn has hooked up with the Westfield Powersports team for the 2016 season.

Ashburn, who finished seventh in the 2015 AMSOIL Grand National Cross Country points standings in the XC1 class, will compete aboard a 2016 KTM 350 SX-F. Ashburn was a member of the N-Fab/AmPro Yamaha team in 2015.

Westfield Powersports is located in the middle of the GNCC Racing hotbed, sitting just north of Indianapolis. Known as one of the Midwest’s largest multi-line dealers, Westfield Powersports supports a total of 114 athletes in a variety of off-road racing disciplines. The company is also the newest associate sponsor of the AMSOIL Grand National Cross Country series.

“We couldn’t be happier to have Jordan join our program for 2016.” said Team Manager Jesse Johnson. “Jordan is the perfect candidate to help further our aspirations of building not only the biggest, but the best off-road race team in the United States. It’s become clear to us through our interactions with Jordan that he shares our core values around the balance of family, racing and business, and we are very excited to see where this year will take us.”

Jordan Ashburn came out on top of a multi-rider battle for third place overall.
