Rodney Johnson of Iowa and Joe Wold of Washington claimed first and second in the 2015 Rocky Mountain ATV/MC RMFantasy SX, and on June 29, they attended a VIP trip to Ricky Carmichael’s ranch in Cairo, Georgia, to customize their prizes: a Suzuki RM-Z450 for Johnson and a Suzuki RM-Z250 for Wold.

According to Rocky Mountain ATV/MC, the RMFantasySX competition has increased in popularity thanks to new features as well as weekly and season prizes. Over 46,000 Monster Energy AMA Supercross fans participated during the 2015 season. Prizes his season included a trip to Las Vegas for the Monster Energy Cup in October, a Pirelli trip to the JGR facility in North Carolina, an Alpinestars Ultimate Gear Package and two Suzuki motorcycles specially race prepped by FMF and JGR for the season winner and runner-up. In the end, the top 10 finishers were separated by only about a 7 percent difference in points. Johnson won by accumulating a total of 789 points even though he wasn’t even in the top 10 until the final round. Wold finished with 777 points.

The top two players took slightly different approaches to making their picks: Johnson watched practice heats before making his picks while Wold diligently kept logbooks and statistics to assist him in making his selections. Although the ability to change picks was a new feature this year, they only utilized it if a rider got hurt. Both men are avid riders who were thrilled to receive their new Suzukis.

Both men are admittedly big Ricky Carmichael fans, and one of the highlights of their finishes in the RMFantasy SX included a personal tour of the Carmichael Ranch by Carmichael himself. The tour included special views of Carmichael’s motocross tracks, his house and his trophies. Johnson and Wold also got the opportunity to meet motocross stars Jeremy and Alex Martin, who were training at the Carmichael Ranch during their visit.

“We’ve had another incredible year with RMFantasySX, and the presentation of the Suzuki dirt bikes to the two top winners caps it all off,” said Dan Thomas, CEO and Founder of Rocky Mountain ATV/MC. “RMFantasySX allowed thousands of supercross fans to more completely immerse themselves in the sport they love. We’re happy that we were able to provide that experience to so many fans as well as deliver great prizes to the lucky winners.”

Rocky Mountain ATV/MC’s fantasy supercross game will return again for the 2016 season at www.RMFantasySX.com. More great prizes will be available. As always, the game is free to play.
