Well-known streetbike seat company Saddlemen introduces MX-Covers for dirtbikes.
If you’ve never heard of Saddlemen, you probably have never owned a cruiser or other streetbike–and that’s okay.
Saddlemen has dedicated itself to the manufacture of high quality aftermarket seats and seat covers for almost 30 years, and now the company is stepping up its involvement in the dirtbike market with the introduction if its MX-Covers line of seat covers for mist popular motocross and dirtbike models.
MX-Covers are available in four different custom-crafted styles and in the various bike manufacturers’ OEM colors. Saddlemen says its MX-Covers are designed to provide superior comfort, grip, and durability. The covers feature a dual compound gripper material for more traction where the rider will need it most. Saddlemen says that the covers also boast an industry-first Directional Pleat Technology (DPT) that restricts the rider from sliding off the seat but does not prevent him or her from sliding forward. Every seam is double reinforced with bias backing and UV resistant thread to prevent stretch failures that result from riding on the seam as you throw the bike through a turn.
MX-Covers are available for most Honda, Husqvarna, Kawasaki, KTM, Suzuki, and Yamaha two-stroke and four-stroke motocross models.
