This Saturday, The Yamaha Factory Supercross Stars At Night Will Be Big & Bright Deep In The Heart Of Texas

This Saturday, tomorrow, Monster Energy AMA Supercross head back East to Arlington, Texas, where Monster Energy/Knich/Yamaha Factory Racing’s Justin Barcia and Cooper Webb look to stand atop the podium at the end of the night. Both riders are East Coasters so hopefully the dirt conditions will play to their favor. This weekend also marks the start of the 250SX East Championship. Let’s go racin’!

Cypress, CAFebruary 15, 2018Round 7 of the 2018 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship is this Saturday at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, and Monster Energy/Knich/Yamaha Factory Racing’s Justin Barcia (#51) and Cooper Webb (#2) are ready to rustle up some wins in their encore visit to The Lone Star State.

Justin, who is currently in second place in the 450SX Championship points standings, commented, “I’m looking forward to Arlington this weekend. It’s an incredible stadium to race in, and I’m also stoked to be back closer to the East Coast! And what better place to chase down a certain ‘hombre’ than Texas?!”

Cooper said, “I’m much happier with how I’ve been riding recently, and I’m focusing on the positives from the past few weekends. I’m really confident heading into Arlington this weekend, and I should be putting the number two YZ450F up front where it belongs very soon. Also, this is the first race where we start heading back East, so I feel like the dirt will favor me. I’m excited to be heading that way!”

Arlington will have the Yamaha bLU cRU 250SX East riders on track for the first time in 2018 as their Championship gets under way Saturday night.
