Pablo Quintanilla landed on the podium at the 2016 Dakar Rally after a hard-fought three-way battle to the finish with Helder Rodrigues and fellow Argentine Kevin Benavides. He capped off the event by taking the final stage win and an overall podium finish, but made an even bigger statement throughout 2016 when he earned the FIM Cross-Country Rallies World Championship. (The Dakar Rally is a standalone event and not part of the FIM series).
The South American has the world crown to his name and is now looking to add the Dakar Rally to his list of accomplishments. He could get the job done.
