Baja Rally and Adventure Spec have announced the release of the documentary film “Blazin’ Through Baja.”

The 50-minute, feature-length film captures rally racer Lyndon Poskitt (UK) en route to his runner-up finish in the 2015 Baja Rally 3.0. Poskitt, along with UK-based Adventure Spec, co-produce the web-based TV series “Races to Places”, which showcases Poskitt’s adventures as he travels the world by motorcycle and races in a variety of competitive rally events.

“Blazin’ Through Baja” includes a storyline of how Poskitt overcomes numerous hurdles just to bring himself and teammate Yuji Shinohara to the starting line for the 2015 Baja Rally 3.0 as well as showcasing Poskitt’s remarkable runner-up finish behind Baja racing legend and 2015 Baja Rally Champion Steve Hengeveld. Baja Rally Executive Vice-president Fred Sobke Jr. remarked that “Blazin’ Through Baja’s “an epic film that captures the essence of our Baja Clifornia adventure and the dramatic buildup to his [Poskitt’s] podium finish. We know that all motorcycle riders and Baja California enthusiasts will enjoy this documentary, not only those riders in the ‘adventure’ and ‘rally’ racers”.

With its entries already sold out, the 2016 Baja Rally is the largest “navigation-based” rally race in North America. Modeled after the famous Dakar Rally and FIM World Championships, the Baja Rally is a six day challenge that places emphasis on a rider’s navigation skills as well as the ability to ride fast in open terrain.
