Motocross and FMX icon Travis Pastrana is the newest member of Sony’s team of Action Cam-wearing sports stars.
Sony has announced that freestyle motocross legend Travis Pastrana is the newest member of Team Action Cam.
One of the most recognized figures in off-road motorcycling today, Pastrana is lauded by Sony as one of the pioneering content creators of the actions sports video movement. Pastrana’s new arrangement with Sony is marks an expansion of the existing Sony Action Cam partnership with Pastrana’s Nitro Circus action sports show brand. Pastrana said that he is excited to join Team Action Cam.
“The team at Nitro Circus has been using Sony cameras for some time, and the quality and range of their products are perfect for me,” Pastrana said. “I look forward to sharing my adventures through my Sony Action Cam.”
Pastrana joins a Team Action Cam family that already includes extreme FMX rider and On Any Sunday: The Next Chapter film star Robbie Maddison, legendary skateboarder Tony Hawk, multi-time AMA Motocross and Supercross champion Ricky Carmichael, and action sports stars Danny Davis, Torah Bright, Amy Purdy, Nick Goepper, Angel Collinson, Sage Cattabriga-Alosa, and Nigel Sylvester.
Jeff Hiatt, director of the Action Cam business at Sony Electronics, said that the company is honored to have Pastrana affiliated with Team Action Cam.
