Precision Concepts Kawasaki’s Robby Bell has been burning up the 2015 Rocky Mountain MC World Off-Road Championship Series (WORCS) presented by Maxxis, and his domination continued Sunday during round four of the series, the Crazy Horse WORCS event in Lake Havasu City, Arizona.

Red Bull KTM’s Ivan Ramirez got away first from the dead-engine start and move into the early lead, followed by RPM/KTM’s Travis Coy and Robby Bell. Bell quickly got establish a good race pace, and he move by Coy and Ramirez to take the lead before the end of the first lap and score his fourth consecutive round win and remain undefeated in 2015 WORCS competition.

At least Hinson/Honda’s Justin Jones was able to keep Bell honest. Jones quickly worked his way up through the pack from a last-place start to challenge Bell for the lead, and although he wasn’t able to make a pass for the win, Jones shadowed Bell for the first six laps of the race. Bell was eventually able to build over a minute’s gap to Jones, who finished second.

Zip Ty Racing’s Blayne Thompson finished third in the Crazy Horse to claim his second straight podium finish of the season. Thompson suffered a poor start and crashed twice in the early going, hampering his chances to challenge Bell and Jones. John Burr Cycle’s Justin Seeds challenged Thompson for the final podium spot late in the race, but Seeds’ efforts bore no fruit, and he finished fourth in the Pro class. Dylan Schmoke finished fifth in the Pro class.

Dalton Shirey claimed his second Pro 2 win of the year at Lake Havasu. Shirey grabbed the holeshot and led the class wire to wire for the win in the class and fourth overall. Michael Del Fante finished second and Benny Breck finished third. Logan Chambers bagged his third Pro 2 Lites win of the season, ahead of 15-year-old Dani Oliveira. Class point leader Mitch Anderson finished third.

Round five of the 2015 Rocky Mountain MC World Off-Road Championship Series heads to Sand Hollow in St. George, Utah April 17-19.
