Reigning 250 West Supercross Champion Jason Anderson and teammate Zach Osborne made their debut on US soil as members of the Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing Team at the Monster Energy Cup this weekend in Las Vegas. Anderson finished a solid seventh in this popular event.

The event, the team’s precursor to the 2015 AMA Supercross season also saw the entire crew – including Martin Davalos and Zach Bell present in the pit area.

Anderson and Osborne both battled slick track conditions and a stacked line-up in front of a packed Sam Boyd Stadium. Despite holding the fastest lap time of the day, Anderson struggled in the first moto after a fall and finished fifteenth, one place in front of teammate Osborne.

Moto 2 yielded slight improvement for Jason, who battled between positions 8-9 and sae him move up to seventh at the finish line. Osborne encountered an issue, forcing him off the track for the second moto.

Third time out was a charm for Anderson as he took the holeshot and finished fourth in the final moto of the night, wrapping up a top ten finish in his first US race aboard the Husqvarna FC 450. Osborne returned to the track and finished 15th.

Coming off of injuries, fellow teammates Martin Davalos and Zach Bell elected not to compete in this event. They are preparing for the 2015 Supercross season.
