Today’s off-road riders probably can’t even imagine a time when the only way to carry water was in an old military-style canteen or by strapping a bicycle-style water bottle to the crossbar or rear fender of their motorcycle. The hydration pack changed all that, allowing riders not only to carry more water than before but also to use the packs as a place to store other items. The Fox Racing Oasis Hydration Pack is one such pack, boasting 6 liters of volume with a thirst-quenching 2-liter hydration bladder to make for a great all-purpose hydration pack. The bladder features a large opening at the top for easy filling and cleaning, and its 45-degree angle bite surge valve is a high-flow design with a twist shut-off feature. The pack itself boasts an EVA-molded back panel with an airflow channel that allows air to circulate and regulate moisture for improved rider comfort. The Oasis’ sleek low profile design is intended to give the pack a less restrictive feel. Other great features include a separate tool storage compartment, a roll out cross-country helmet holder and a fleece lined sunglass/media pocket.
