Aftermarket hard parts manufacturer Ride Engineering has announced that it is proud to support Smartop MotoConcepts Racing for the 2016 race season.

Under the agreement, Smartop MotoConcepts Honda riders Mike Alessi and Vince Friese will use Ride Engineering triple clamps, anti-twist bar mounts, linkage arms, brake calipers, brake lines and other Ride components during the 2016 Monster AMA Energy Supercross Series.

AlessiAlessi will be embarking upon his 13th season as a professional, having made his pro debut in 2004 after becoming one of the winningest amateur motocross racers of all time. He has held factory rides with KTM and Suzuki during his career, and he has garnered five AMA National Motocross wins–two in the premier 450cc National class and three in the 250cc class.

Ride Engineering President Adiran Ciomo said that his company is pleased to be working with the Smartop MotoConcepts Racing team.

“We were thrilled to hear from Tony Alessi that the MCR team wanted to use Ride products after testing at various tracks,” Ciomo said. “The partnership, testing and racing development is great for our brand. Smartop MotoConcepts Racing runs a great program. Mike Genova and Tony have improved their bikes over the years, and Ride is excited to be a part of the team.”

Ciomo said that consumers can purchase the same products used by the MotoConcepts team online. For more information, visit www.ride-engineering.com.
