TCX’s new PRO 2.1 boot boasts the company’s latest technology for motocross and off-road performance and protection.

Boot manufacturer TCX has released its latest off-road boot, the PRO 2.1. The company says that the PRO 2.1 represents the pinnacle of technology in its off-road boot line while the X-MUD offers a good value to beginner and hobby off-road riders while the COMP KID is designed to provide quality protection to small-sized feet.

TCX PRO 2.1

PRO-2_1_ORANGE-WHITE

TCSThe structure of the hand-made PRO 2.1 is highlighted by TCX’s signature Torsion Control System, which is composed of three rigid elements that hinge together with sliding inserts, offering specific flexion points on the boot—two in the rear and one on each side. The system is designed to allow normal bending movement of the foot while preventing excessive torsion from front to back and side to side. TCX says that the stops effectively protect the rider’s foot from injury, while still allowing comfortable movement both on and off the motorcycle.

Polyurethane reinforcements in the shin, toe, heel and ankle areas are also part of the PRO 2.1’s design which also includes a water-resistant upper and water-resistant bellow at the closure for better wet-weather protection. A steel toecap and inner rubber heat guards are also standard on the PRO 2.1. The result is a boot designed to offer superior protection while remaining lightweight to help the rider conserve strength during a long moto or off-road trek. The PRO 2.1’s stability has been addressed via preformed counters that cradle and support the heel, and its interchangeable dual-compound rubber sole is used to ensure ideal grip.

inner-bootFor added comfort, a removable inner bootie constructed from breathable material is used in the Pro 2.1. Gel inserts at the ankle are also used for comfort and added protection. The boot’s four aluminum buckles are fully adjustable for a snug fit.
