USA to host two rounds of the FIM Motocross World Championship in 2016; MXoN to be held in Italy.
FIM Motocross World Championship promoter Youthstream has released the official schedule for the 2016 FIM Motocross World Championship, FIM Women’s Motocross World Championship, FIM Veteran’s Motocross World Cup and the Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations.
The 2016 calendar features four new tracks, and American fans will get the opportunity to watch the GP stars compete at two different venues in the United States. In addition to the season-ending Monster Energy MXGP of the USA at Glen Helen Raceway in San Bernardino, the series will stop at Charlotte Motor Speedway for the penultimate round, the MXGP of Americas. Additionally, the series will visit a new venue in Malaysia and make its return to Switzerland.
The 2016 Monster Energy Motocross of Nations will be held in Maggiora, Italy, in 2016, but it is expected to take place in the US in 2017.
