The smarties over at Works Connection have introduced a new Works Connection Tach/Hour Meter/Clock that offers the user more functionality than previous generations.

For starters, the Works Connection unit features a resettable maintenance timer to take the guesswork out of just how much time is left before your next oil change or major overhaul, but it brings a lot more to the table. Other features include a digital tachometer function that displays the engine’s rpm and records the max rpm attained during that ride. The unit then resets for the next ride. The tachometer can read up to 99,999 rpm. The hour meter itself keeps track of the engine’s total run time–up to 99,999 hours–as well as the maintenance interval time, and it features a clock that can be set to 12-hour or 24-hour operation.

Works-Connection-Meter2With its large, easy-to-read LCD screen, the hour meter can be mounted just about anywhere within reach of your tach lead. Installation is a snap, requiring just a single wire lead that wraps around the spark plug wire. The unit comes with heavy-duty, die-cut peel-n-stick tape for mounting on a flat surface, but Works Connection also offers an optional mounting bracket that offers even more flexibility when deciding where to place it.

The Works Connection Tach/Hour Meter/Clock works with fuel-injected or carbureted two-Strokes or four-Strokes from one to eight cylinders. MSRP is $44.95, and the optional mounting bracket is $14.95. For information, visit www.worksconnection.comwww.worksconnection.com.
