America’s top-scoring ISDE rider makes the Enduro del Verano podium in front of 100,000 fans in South America.
Factory FMF/KTM rider Taylor Robert earned a podium finish in his third appearance at the Enduro del Verano in front of an estimated 100,000 spectators on the shores of Argentina on February 23. The one-day race is approximately an hour in length, with riders racing in sandy conditions near the beach.
Robert launched off the starting line to run in second place, and held the runner-up position for the remainder of the six-lap race to finish second overall. Felipe Ellis of Argentina won the race on a Kawasaki. The Enduro del Verano draws an estimated 800 riders. This was the 21st running of the event.
“This race is always an amazing experience,” Robert said. “I’m always blown away by the amount of fans that come out and are familiar with who we are. I am thankful for the opportunity to race here and glad that I could finish on the podium for my team.”
