It seems only appropriate that MX Sports Pro Racing and the National Promoters Group (NPG) chose Veterans Day to announced that they will continue their partnership with the Veteran Tickets Foundation to provide free admission for military veterans to the 2016 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship, sanctioned by AMA Pro Racing. All available tickets will be made available through VetTix.org, a national non-profit, non-governmental 501c(3) tax-exempt organization.

A total of 50 tickets to each of the 12 rounds that make up the 2016 Nationals will be donated to Vet Tix and made available at no cost to both active duty, retired military veterans and families of those KIA. Tickets to each round of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship will become available two weeks prior to its respective date on the schedule via VetTix.org.

“Lucas Oil Pro Motocross has been a huge supporter of Vet Tix and our military community for several years now,” Brandi Shannon, Vet Tix Chief of Community Relations, said. “Attending these events provides an exhilarating atmosphere for our military families, which create countless memories that they previously would not have been able to experience. Vet Tix looks forward to partnering with Lucas Oil Pro Motocross again in continuing to ‘Thank’ our military across the country.”

Vet Tix enjoys similar partnerships with nearly all major sports leagues, including Major League Baseball, the National Basketball Association, the National Football League and the National Hockey League. Sports entertainment franchises such as the World Wrestling Entertainment and Professional Bull Riders have also worked with Vet Tix to provide veterans and their families to opportunity to attend marquee events across the country for free. The Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship is the first prominent motorsports properties in the country to partner with the Veteran Tickets Foundation, a relationship that has endured for 5 years.

Vet Tix is a national nonprofit organization based in Phoenix, Arizona, that provides free tickets to veterans and active-duty members of the military and their families. U.S. Navy veteran Michael Focareto developed Vet Tix in 2008, and since then the organization has given away more than 1 million tickets to veterans nationwide.
