If this isn’t one of the best products of 2014, we don’t know what beat it. Dunlop shook up the motocross world when it introduced its Geomax MX32 (soft-intermediate terrain) and MX52 (intermediate-hard terrain) tires for 2014. The MX32/52s not only simplified Dunlop’s tire range, they arguably became the best dirtbike tires ever. Of the two, we prefer the MX32s, which deliver the most consistent grip we’ve ever experienced in soft-to-intermediate terrain while offering surprisingly long wear even when abused in desert conditions. Utilizing Dunlop’s Progressive Cornering Block Technology (PCBT) and Carcass Tension Control System (CTCS) creates knobs that are stiffer and a carcass that is more flexible and predictable than previous Geomax’s. MX32s are available in most standard motocross tire sizes. And hey, off-road guys, don’t fret: We have it straight from the horse’s mouth that MX32s will be available in 18-inch rear wheel sizes for 2015. Maybe you can ask the family to delay Christmas?
