5. Risk Racing Lock-N-Load Moto Transport System, $179.99
RiskRacing-Tiedowns-11202014
Sometimes finding tiedown points for transporting your motorcycle can be a pain, especially if you own a van or a trailer. Risk Racing’s Lock-N-Load Moto Transport System is designed to hold your dirtbike in place without the use of tie-down straps, floor anchors or wheel chocks, and it also adds to the life of your fork seals by taking the pressure off of them during transit. To operate the Lock-N-Load, you simply rotate the knobs into the lock position and roll or bike into place until your foot pegs hit the open jaws of the Lock-N-Load. Stepping on the upper jaws automatically locks your bike into place, and you’re all set. To release your bike, you rotate the knobs into the release position and step on the top jaws. For additional security, you can insert the attached locking pins prior to transport or replace the locking pins with pad locks as a theft deterrent. The Lock-N-Load system can quickly be removed from the floor by unscrewing the four thumb screws leaving only the low profile mounting plates. Each plate has a “D” ring for additional anchor points. Truck/van bed adapter plates are available (sold separately for $26.99) to span your corrugated truck bed for a secure mount.
