Muscle Milk’s Trey Canard is scheduled to compete in at the Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis, Missouri, round 13 of the Monster Energy AMA Supercross Series, on Saturday night.

Canard returns to racing aboard his factory Honda-prepared CRF450R after having recovered from a broken arm sustained on Thanksgiving Weekend 2013 while preparing for the 2014 Monster Energy AMA Supercross season.

“I’m really looking forward to getting back out there and racing with all these guys each week,” Canard said. “Since getting back on my bike and training for motos, everything has gone smoothly. I’ve been riding a lot at home in Oklahoma, and the Honda team came out and did some testing with me last week. I feel really good and my CRF450R is working awesome. However, I expect it will take a little while to get up to full race speed, but I will give 100 percent effort regardless.”

Muscle Milk Honda team manager Dan Betley said that the team is excited to see what Canard do at the remaining five rounds of the series.

Trey has made a lot of progress in a short period of time since getting back on his bike,” Betley said. “He’s an incredibly focused and determined racer, and I think it won’t be long before he’s mixing it up with the front-runners.”
