Husqvarna releases promo videos to show off its 2015 range of motocross and off-road motorcycles.

Hot on the heels of Husqvarna Motorcycles GmbH’s information release on its 2015 line of motocross and off-road models, the company has release a pair of videos to generate even more interest for the historic brand, which appears to be well on the way to a full revival.

If you read our story on the 2015 Husky models, then you know that its motocross line consists of six bikes, including the two-stroke TC 85, TC 125 and TC250 and the four-stroke FC 250, FC 350 and FC 450. Last month, Husqvarna also unveiled some exciting news regarding its return to AMA supercross and motocross competition, as current Rockstar Energy KTM rider Jason Anderson and his team will be switching to the Husqvarna brand for 2015.

Of course, that isn’t as quantum of a leap as it might have been in the past, since KTM and Husqvarna are now bedfellows under the direction of Stefan Pierer. Both Husqvarna and KTM share their technological changes for 2015, including items like the new WP 4CS fork, new 22mm front axles that are 4mm smaller in diameter and also 2mm farther back in the axle clamp to increase stability, new linkage and a new WP piggyback reservoir shock with 4mm more stroke.

On the off-road front, Husqvarna just celebrated a win in the Kenda AMA National Enduro Series this past weekend by factory rider Andrew DeLong. Husqvarna is clearly motivated to return its name to the top of the off-road world, and its 2015 includes seven new models with that purpose in mind. Improvements to the “Enduro” models include a new headlight, a new front fender, new CNC machined triple clamps and a new WP 4CS closed cartridge front fork with four separate chambers. Individual models have also received attention to address specific needs.

Time will tell if Husqvarna can achieve the mainstream level of success that it enjoyed in the 1970s and 1980s, but we definitely like what we are seeing so far. For more information, contact your local Husqvarna dealer or visit Husqvarna-Motorcycles.com.
