KSV/Team Green/FMF Kawasaki rider Jacob Argubright won the final round of the 10-round National Hare and Hound Association/AMA Hare and Hound Championship Series at the Johnson Valley Off-Highway Vehicle Area, in Johnson Valley, California, yesterday.
Argubright completed the first loop in 59 minutes and 56 seconds, the second in 1:58:13 and capped the race win with a total time of 2:37:34, finishing just 59 seconds ahead of Purvine Racing Beta rider Nick Burson (2:38:23). John Burr Cycles Beta rider Justin Morrow finished third overall with a time of 2:38:52.
The late Kurt Caselli had already clinched the 2013 NHHA/AMA Hare and Hound title with a win at the penultimate round in Panaca, Nevada, on August 24.
