Hot on the heels of its announcement that AMSOIL Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) competitor Thad Duvall has signed on to be a member of the Rocky Mountain ATV/MC KR4/FAR Husqvarna race team, Rocky Mountain ATV/MC has announced that is stepping up its involvement in the KR4 program.

For 2015, Rocky Mountain ATV/MC will serve as the title sponsor for KR4’s Arrive-N-Ride program. The three-year agreement encompasses all aspects of KR4’s pro and amateur program, which contests the AMSOIL Grand National Cross Country Series presented by Maxxis.

The 2015 GNCC Rocky Mountain ATV/MC KR4/FAR race team will include Duvall in the XC1 Pro motorcycle class and Nick Davis in the XC2 Pro Lites class. Duvall has already enjoyed success in the XC1 Pro class, posting several wins and numerous podium finishes. Davis had a breakthrough year in 2014 with six podium finishes after receiving support of KR4 midway through the year. Both Duvall and Davis look forward to a successful 2015 season on Husqvarna motorcycles.

The Rocky Mountain ATV/MC KR4 Arrive-N-Ride program brings a high level of support to amateur GNCC riders. It provides up-and-coming stars with the type of assistance normally reserved only for factory riders, including providing riding gear, tires, parts, fuel, bike transportation, race prep, mechanic services and trackside hospitality. Th program takes care of the preparation and tuning required to participate competitively in the GNCC series. It allows riders to show up to the event and race. The program is customizable to fit various budgets, so riders can take advantage of only those services they need.

Former AMSOIL GNCC champion and pro motocross star Fred Andrews, who manages the KR4/FAR Husqvarna team, said that people are talking about how user-friendly the program is.

“To us, KR4 is the same thing: very easy,” Andrews said. “All you need to do is just show up and ride; it’s very friendly and efficient. KR4 is gaining ground and recognition. We’re a fast-growing team. With Rocky Mountain ATV/MC joining us as the title sponsor, we are able to take on a top XC1 Pro rider. Similarly, Rocky Mountain ATV/MC is already receiving recognition all over the place. So between the two of us, we will have a great relationship together.”

Dan Thomas, CEO of Rocky Mountain ATV/MC, said that the company is excited to join KR4 as the title sponsor for the upcoming 2015 season.

“The ability to sponsor exceptional riders such as Thad Duvall and Nick Davis is a wonderful opportunity for us,” Thomas said. “And of course, we’re delighted to help even more riders through the Arrive-N-Ride program. We’re always looking for ways to support the sport, and the future looks bright with our new partnership with KR4.”
