Video: Jett Reynolds Jets at Loretta Lynn’s

Alpinestars celebrates Kawasaki Team Green’s Jett Reynolds’ record eighth consecutive title at the 2016 AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship.

Alpinestars has released a video showcasing the talents of amateur motocross superstar Jett Reynolds, who made history during the 35th Annual Rocky Mountain ATV/MC Amateur National Motocross Championship at Loretta Lynn Ranch in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee, in early August.

Heading into the final motos at the event, the Kawasaki Team Green-supported Reynolds had the chance to land a record eighth consecutive Amateur National titles at Loretta’s, and he came through in style. Reynolds pulled the 85cc (9-11) Limited class holeshot, and after recovering from a small mistake on lap one, he secured second place to claim the the 85cc (9-11) Limited class championship. In the final 85cc (9-12) moto, Reynolds was third on the opening lap, but he quickly moved up behind the race leader and made a jaw-dropping leap to the front of the pack. Reynolds went on to win that moto and the championship to make it eight consecutive titles.Reynolds was awarded the AMA’s Youth Rider of the Year for the third time in his career.

The Alpinestars video gives a brief glimpse of Reynolds’ exploits, and it is highlighted by commentary from his family. The video also celebrates the pair of runner-up finishes earned by Team Green’s Ryder DiFranceso in the 65cc (7-11) and 65cc (10-11) divisions.
