Ricky Carmichael is and probably always will be the GOAT (greatest of all time) in AMA professional motocross and supercross.
His amazing win record and long list of championship titles includes a perfect season in AMA regional supercross and, even more incredibly, two perfect seasons in AMA Motocross where he went undefeated in 24 consecutive motos. After retiring in 2006, Carmichael went on to experience some success in NASCAR as well as becoming a television commentator for AMA supercross and motocross telecasts and, most recently a Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship-winning team owner with the RCH Suzuki effort that he co-owned with Carey Hart. Carmichael oozes success.
But there have been days when things haven’t gone so right, and YouTuber Kaden Klein has compiled some of them on his YouTube channel. Entitled Insane Ricky Carmichael Crashes, the clip recalls some of Carmichael’s most memorable fails, with perhaps the most famous one not even being his fault. His run-in with James Stewart at the 2005 Unadilla National in New Berlin, New York. The good ones are all here to see, so check them out.
